This week's rugs!

This week I made a matching pair of smaller rugs. I really 

love how these turned out and love the sage green! 

             I thought someone just might need a set of rugs for 
        that room with two doors, or a double vanity or you know.

Each of these rugs measure approx. 20x30 inches

and feature a scalloped edge. They are made

from prewashed fabric and are machine washable.

You might be wondering what these other two tabs

refer to. Well, I make all kinds of stuff!

The Red Suit is a brand I have made for years.

I have always loved primitive Santas. I make them

in all shapes and sizes. I have sold

them in craft malls, shows and some 

country stores. While I usually start on these

later in the summer, I will be adding Santas as

I can to spread the wealth out a bit.

Old Stuff, is a collection

of vintage styled Teddy Bears and Bunnies.

I love Teddy Bears! My house at various times

has been overflowing with these guys. I like to

dress them, add vintage elements and really

give them a personality of their own. I have

recently added a vintage styled bunny as well.

I hope you will keep checking back for these items.

Again, just like my rugs, I make everything myself from 

the bodies, to the clothing to the accessories.

The Process

I wanted to let you all know that these rugs, like my

Santas,  bears and bunnies, are entirely

handmade by me.

I use both new and found fabrics. I prewash

all the fabric, rip the strips, attach the 

strips together and crochet the rugs.

It is a lengthy process.

I do all phases by myself here at my home.

I have the sore hands to prove it.

These rugs are entirely, "Made in America".

I hope this will help you to appreciate my crafts.

First Rugs!

I would like to introduce my first batch of handmade rag rugs.

The smallest rug measures 20 inches x 30 inches. It is a nice

country blend or reds, blacks, greens and browns and features

a scalloped edging. It is made from prewashed cotton fabric 

and is machine washable. It is the perfect size for in 

front of your door or a bathroom sink or anywhere you need

 just a hint of softness.

This medium rug measures 24 inches x 44 inches. It is 

a collection of great blues, tans and a hint of burgundy. 

Very pretty! It features a scalloped edge and would 

look great in a foyer or beside your  bed or even in 

front of the kitchen sink! It is made from prewashed 

cotton fabrics and is machine washable.

This second medium rug measures 24 inches x 44 inches. 

It is a nice blend of various blues and tans. 

A pretty homespun rug. It features a scalloped edge
